Michigan basketball looks to rebound from a loss to Ohio State this week by defeating Michigan State Saturday. Here’s how to watch and three predictions.

After getting a huge win last Saturday against Rutgers, Michigan basketball finds itself right back in a tight spot as far the NCAA tournament goes following a loss to Ohio State.

The win over Rutgers is a good one and will help more than the loss to Ohio State will hurt, however, if the Wolverines can’t beat Michigan State Saturday, they will have already recorded their 10th loss overall and their 8th in the Big Ten.

Certainly, the league is as strong as ever, but it will take a really good stretch of basketball to recover from a 4-8 start in the league. The margin error would get really thin.

Michigan basketball also just needs to win a game in this series. After winning both games in 2017-18, Michigan State has won four in a row and another win Saturday would back it back-to-back regular-season sweeps by the Spartans.

Predictions are upcoming, but first here’s the key info to catch tomorrow’s game.

Breakdown

One key thing to watch is whether Isaiah Livers is able to play. He practiced this week and that was a big hurdle. He didn’t play in the last matchup and the Wolverines have missed him on both ends of the floor.

At any rate, here are three predictions for Michigan and Michigan State.
