Johns plays like a man

Ever since Brandon Johns came to Michigan basketball, there has been a lot of hype about what he can do and why not, he has all the skills to not only be a very solid player at Michigan but also reach the NBA.

He’s athletic, can play multiple positions, can defend in the paint and on the perimeter, he can shoot and score down low. Johns can realistically do all of those things well and Tuesday night, he flashed each of those traits against Nebraska.

When the night was over, Johns scored 16 points and pulled down seven rebounds, three of which came on the offensive end. He also hit a clutch 3-pointer in the second half as Nebraska was closing and scored a key bucket inside.

Johns was a guy that needed to step up for Michigan to be a true contender in the conference and even though he has been shaky at times, if he can play as well as he did against the Huskers, the Wolverines will have a fighting chance against anyone.
