Michigan Football: 5 predictions for Wolverines against Indiana
Who wins
The talk all week has been about this being a trap game for Michigan football and it could be. It’s right before the Ohio State game against a team the Wolverines haven’t lost to since 1987.
But this Indiana team has been solid all year long and it gave Penn State a game on the road last week, meaning the Wolverines will have to play well to escape Bloomington with a win.
Over the years, Michigan has played inferior Indiana teams and has still had some trouble, which might lead people to believe this is the year Indiana could finally pull the upset.
But for some strange reason, the fact that Indiana is 7-3 seems to make it less likely that the Wolverines overlook this one. Since the Penn State loss, this team seems to be on a mission to prove something and that continues.
It won’t be easy and the game should be competitive. But in the end, Michigan will be too deep and too talented for the Hoosiers to overcome. Yet, UM still finds a way to cover the spread.
Final: Michigan 34, Indiana 24
