Before the end of the season, Howard will have a top-five recruiting class

Michigan basketball hasn’t broken into the top ten for recruiting class rankings since 2012 and wasn’t on a positive trajectory until Juwan came to Ann Arbor and eventually brought with him the highest-ranked recruit to commit to the Wolverines since the 247 sports rankings started.

Isaiah Todd is on another level of basketball. What Alabama is to football, Isaiah is to high school basketball.

When Todd made his pledge, Michigan’s 2020 class went from good to great, jumping from outside the top 50 to inside the top 20. And if the word on the street is correct, the class is only going to get better. In fact, Howard – at a press conference and in front of a ton of people recording him – dropped the names of three recruits that not only is he heavily targeting, but also he is expected to earn their commitment.

"Learning on the job: Juwan Howard just name-dropped Hunter Dickinson, Moses Moody and Nimari Burnett as recruits he’s still looking for. Stopped himself mid-answer, realizing the NCAA violation."

Makes you wonder, what if he said the name of his own son? Would the NCAA really sanction him for that?
