Michigan Football: 5 predictions for Wolverines against Iowa
Michigan will challenge Iowa physically
One of the things that was most disappointing about how Michigan football played at Wisconsin was the way the Badgers manhandled the Wolverines up front.
It was an embarrassing display and something you didn’t think you would see from a team coached by Harbaugh, who has always been known as a tough guy that had tough teams.
Last week, even though it was Rutgers, Michigan seemed to have a different attitude and it feels like Harbaugh is driven to get back to his roots. That has nothing to do with the offensive or defensive system, it’s about being tougher than the guy across from you.
While the Wolverines didn’t meet that challenge against Wisconsin, at home, in a must-win game, they will against Iowa. UM isn’t going to push around the Hawkeyes like they did the Scarlet Knights last week, but if Iowa is going to win this game, it will have to rely on its quarterback to do so, because this Michigan team won’t get pushed around again like it did in Madison.
