Six, seven, and eight

Hunter Dickinson is the tallest person in every room. Standing at 7-foot-2-inches, Dickinson doesn’t even need to jump to dunk the ball, he hops. And as the No. 6 center in the country, you could say he’s highly sought after, but some crystal balls have Michigan in the lead for this big man.

Of the three 247 sports crystal balls, two are in favor of the Wolverines, and the other stands undecided. Hunter has decided, however, which four schools he will keep communicating with, and they are Duke, Florida State, Notre Dame, and Michigan.

Jaden Springer

Do you know how good Jaden Springer is? He’s this good:

The 6-foot-5 shooting guard from Florida is ranked 16th in the nation and is the No. 4 shooting guard.

“Tremendous strength and build for a combo guard.” Jerry Meyer wrote. “Has average-to-good length. A power guard who is effective in traffic and plays through contact. Scores at all three levels. Great rebounder for a guard. Can also distribute, although scoring is his strength. Great potential defensively.”

“Great potential defensively” is precisely what this Howard team needs, a group that already identified themselves as a defensive-minded team.

Mark Williams

Jaemyn Brakefield is joined by 7-footer Mark Williams in Ann Arbor this weekend, which is obviously part of the strategy for Howard. But Williams hadn’t been the talk of Wolverine nation mostly because he wasn’t on the media’s radar until recently.

Two days ago, Mark announced his top three, Duke, UCLA, and Michigan.

Three months ago, Mark announced his top seven. Michigan wasn’t one of them.
