Three with five

The top fifteen basketball players in the country can basically walk onto any court and decimate their opponent. Joshua Christopher is one of those guys.

Ranked 11th in the country, Christopher has 16 scholarship offers from the best college basketball teams. Of those 16 schools, Joshua has narrowed his interest to five: Missouri, Arizona State, UCLA, Kentucky, and Michigan.

Christopher sits six spots up from Moody in terms of ranking at the shooting guard position. Moses is ranked No. 8, and Joshua sits as the second-ranked shooting guard for the 2020 class.

Isaiah Todd

The man on this list is Word Of God Christian Academy’s Isaiah Todd, the No. 2 power forward for 2020. Todd’s top five reads like the who’s who of college basketball.

Kentucky, North Carolina, Kansas, Memphis, and Michigan make up Todd’s list. Unfortunately for Michigan, many are convinced Isaiah is heading to Kentucky. Fortunately for Michigan, Kentucky is in a bit of a bind with the recent allegations. There is hope.

Nimari Burnett

Juwan Howard is a familiar face for the Chicago native, Nimari Burnett. Growing up, Burnett was an exceptional talent, and Howard took notice. Burnett hasn’t forgotten.

According to Burnett’s father, the final things he needs to see from Howard is what kind of coach he is and how Juwan will respond when challenged.

“For one, Juwan, it’s his first year in college basketball,” said Brian Burnett. “We want to see how he is really going to adjust to the college style of play. He went over everything in the visit on what type of style they’re going to run, but it’s not like seeing in action.

“We want to see how he adjusts when his team is having a bad day, how he adjusts to his players and so forth in a game situation. Once we see maybe three or four games, we’ll go from there.”

The Wolverines are competing with Louisville, Alabama, Texas Tech, and Oregon for Nimari – the fifth-ranked combo guard and 22nd for the 2020 class.
