These players didn’t necessarily excel, but all made contributions to their teams in Week 2:

Frank Clark, DE, Kansas City Chiefs — The veteran pass rusher has started both games in his first year with the Chiefs after four seasons in Seattle. So far he’s struggled to make the same impact he did last year, but improved his production in Week 2 at Oakland, registering three combined tackles and one for a loss.

Ryan Glasgow, DT, Cincinnati Bengals — The third-year pro didn’t start but was impactful anyway. Glasgow recorded one solo tackle and two hits of Jimmy Garoppolo in Cincy’s 41-17 loss.

Brandon Graham, DE, Philadelphia Eagles — Graham was mostly quiet in the Eagles’ 24-20 loss to Atlanta on Sunday Night Football, but he did light up Devonta Freeman on one of his two tackles when Keith Smith decided he didn’t feel like blocking him:

Lano Hill, DB, Seattle Seahawks — Hill didn’t play in Week 1 but drew the start in the secondary against the Steelers, recording three tackles.

Jabrill Peppers, DB, New York Giants — Peppers had a combined six tackles on Sunday, but his team struggled overall, allowing 253 passing yards to Josh Allen in a 28-14 loss to Buffalo.

Chase Winovich, DE, New England Patriots — Winovich made his first career sack in the fourth quarter of the Patriots’ rout of the Dolphins and teamed up for another partial sack later on. On the first, he told reporters after the game that he noticed a butterfly on the field, which he took as a sign of his late grandmother’s presence.
