Army Is Never To Be Taken Lightly

Once again, Army showed to everyone why no one wants to schedule them. They are a terrifying offense to prepare for no matter who they are facing. Jeff Monken’s program has an excellent shot to win out and it should not come as a surprise if that happens at all.

Army’s defense was sound all game long as well. The Black Knights held Michigan’s running attack in check besides Charbonnet.

The Wolverines passing prowess was even limited because of their stout defense. The Cadets were penalized more than they would have hoped for though on critical passing downs. That was about one of the only things they did wrong in the otherwise close call.

Thankfully, Michigan football will now have time off to focus on the run in front of it. Two weeks to clean up, heal up, and practice on everything that ails them.

Coach Harbaugh sorely needs to make his program understand that its a new season and nothing is off the table yet. They’ll have to preach what they’ve been saying all along, and that is getting better every day and finding ways to get the victory from now until the bitter end.
