Michigan football is going to have a dramatically different offensive scheme in 2019 under Josh Gattis and here are five predictions for how it will fare.

One of the biggest topics of conversation surrounding the Michigan football team heading into the 2019 season has to do with the offense and the new system being installed by Josh Gattis.

While some have struggled to believe that Jim Harbaugh would actually hand over reigns of the offense to Josh Gattis, both men have explained multiple times that is the case.

Gattis even lashed out a bit at reporters last week, when he was asked about it again. Gattis said basically it was his offense and a lot more to the local media, which is exactly what Harbaugh has said all along.

At Big Ten Media Days, Harbaugh said he wanted a system that would fit his quarterbacks and get the best out of them. Then, when Gattis became available, Harbaugh got the guy he thought would fit the Wolverines best.

The transformation began during the spring and we got a glimpse of the no-huddle system during the Wolverines “spring game” but even then, our look was limited to just a few possessions in a controlled situation.

But now that the season is just more than two weeks away, we will see the offense in real action soon. What will it look like? We can’t answer that question with 100 percent certainty until the 2019 season kicks off, but we can guess and so here are five predictions for Josh Gattis offense in year one.
