Erick All could push his way into the TE mix

The name Erick All is one that has been getting hype since the spring, when he stood out and even made a really nice catch up the sideline from Joe Milton.

Well, All hasn’t taken a step back since then and Lorenz said ($) he has shown enough to be a legitimate threat for playing time at tight end. Of course, with veterans like Sean McKeon and Nick Eubanks, it won’t be easy for All but he also offers something different.

McKeon and Eubanks have shown some nice ability catching the ball and could be used in the slot or split out. However, neither looks as natural as a receiver as All does. The 6-foot-4, 225-pounder is smooth and has tremendous hands.

Certainly, he is not on the same level as a blocker, especially with McKeon, who has also done what he can to get bigger and stronger, but if All can handle some of the blocking stuff, he should be the third tight end this season or at least high enough on the depth chart to burn his redshirt.
