Michigan basketball: 5 Wolverine targets to keep an eye on
Henry Coleman III
The Howard era started off slow; meticulously choosing who to offer and who to keep a watchful eye on. Now, those long hours in the gym watching young athletes is paying off with epic proportions.
The four and five-star kids are warming up to Howard and showing it with their narrowed down list of schools. In the case of Henry Coleman III, his top five schools include the Wolverines.

The other schools listed were NC State, Duke, Ohio State, and Virginia Tech. We might not have to worry about the competition as Coleman is a fan of Ann Arbor.
“I talk to Coach Howard a lot. He knows what to do and how to get me (to the NBA) and prepare me for it,” Coleman said. “I always have to keep that in the back of my mind and I like the area that Michigan is in, too.”
The four-star from Virginia is ranked fourth in-state, 6th positionally as a PF, and 39th nationally. The 6-foot-6 Trinity Episcopal School has offers from just about everyone but his list has narrowed giving Michigan hope for a future with this rockstar.
“A powerfully built combo forward. Coleman is a good athlete that brings toughness and physicality. He’s a strong rebounder that plays with tremendous energy,” 247Sports Evan Daniels said in his evaluation of Coleman. “He competes on both ends and has the potential to guard both forward positions at the collegiate level. The next step for him is improving as a long-range shooter and ball handler. He should develop into an NBA draft choice.”
Another lottery pick here, however, Daniels believes Henry is destined for the second round while comparing the high school junior to former Tarheel Nassir Little.
