Kicker

Jake Moody and Quinn Nordin are back to tussle over the kicking job. Last year Nordin was destined to be the placekicker of the future for Michigan football, but things went awry before long. He began struggling with a miss in the Western Michigan game and his demeanor showed it. He then went on to rebound until the Wisconsin affair which basically spelled the beginning of the end for him.

Moody stepped up and was perfect from the get-go. He had a momentous career performance in his first outing against Indiana which sealed the triumph in an otherwise close encounter. From reports, he’s been turning heads in the program since the day he arrived and his quiet confidence is what can get him to handle the job for good.

If Nordin can get his emotions in check then the kid has the leg to make just about any kick.

Coach Harbaugh didn’t sleepover at his house for nothing. He, as well as others, expected Nordin to be the answer from day one. As the schedule intensified, the pressure got to him and the rest was history.
