Dylan McCaffrey will get playing time

“Yeah, I do (see games where they’ll both play). Where it stands right now, and that could change later or not, is I see them both playing,” Harbaugh said. “Where it stands right now, I see it as maybe redefining what a starter is. I see that. That’s where it is now. They’re both, you just see that you want to get both on the field.”

Straight from the horse’s mouth there.

Matt’s musings

This one blew me away. I knew they were making changes but how does this happen? Here’s how.

I doubt you will find a running quarterback and a throwing quarterback that you see with other programs mainly because it doesn’t work unless the opposing defense is garbage. What you will see on the field is pure madness. Anything and everything on the field as Gattis looks to make a name for himself and solidify his chance at one day becoming a head coach.

I expect this Michigan football team to come out with Dylan McCaffrey at receiver, Wilson at quarterback and Shea Patterson at tight end. The play ends with Ben Bredeson throwing a hail mary to Mike Sainristil.

In all seriousness, this is most likely a ploy to keep opposing coaches continually
questioning what’s going on behind the scenes. Shea will be the starter and Dylan will get the necessary experience to take over next year.

Although, there’s still a chance at seeing a Bredeson hail mary.
