Jace Howard

You guessed it, Jace Howard, son of Juwan, could be a target that could be the future for Michigan basketball. Currently, Jace is unranked but, how could he be? Take a look for yourself.

Well for one, that video was his sophomore year where he averaged ten points per game, eight rebounds, and four blocks.

After that season, Jace announced he will be attending the University school in Florida. Howard decided that talent around him was good but he wanted to showcase his skills with the best of the best. His teammates from last season were the No. 1 ranked 2019 Florida prospect Vernon Carey Jr. and No. 1 ranked 2020 Florida prospect, Scottie Barnes.

With Carey gone, Jace can grab a starting role with his new team and showcase his skills potentially earning a scholarship offer from his dad.

Bonus prospect

One of Jace’s teammates is also his brother, Jett. Jett plays SG which is a position that Michigan will need depth in going forward, however, Jett won’t be available to play college ball until 2022.

“Howard has improved a lot since we first saw him at USA Basketball’s minicamp back in October,” Eric Bossi from Rivals said of Jett. “He’s shooting the ball much better, he has grown an inch or two and he has really filled out and learned to play through contact. He’s on the path to high-major basketball and it’s pretty understandable that Michigan will end up tough to beat if father and son want to be together on the next level.”

Jett already holds offers from Florida and Vanderbilt.
