Isaiah Jackson

For Isaiah Jackson, Michigan State holds the crystal balls for his future but Juwan Howard is a better fit for the big man from Detroit. The main downside is Tom Izzo has been watching the kid since the ninth grade and Howard is going to have a lot of time to make up with the in-state star.

Taking a look at Jackson’s highlight reel, you can see comparisons to Zion Williamson, if Zion was 190 pounds.

247Sports Jerry Meyer compared Isaiah to Golden State Warrior Jordan Bell and provided the following scouting report:

“Adequate length but very slender for a four man. Tremendous athlete. Fast and a high riser. Has an extremely quick second jump and the instincts and timing of a top-notch shot blocker. Not considered a skilled offensive player but his skill level is steadily improving. Motor, athleticism and potential project him as a first round pick.”

Jackson holds five-stars and has a 9940 composite rating. He’s ranked No. 1 in-state and the No. 3 PF. Jackson’s national rating is 17th according to 247Sports; however, Rivals ranked Jackson at No. 20 nationally but predicted Isaiah would choose Michigan State as well.
