RJ Moten

RJ Moten is bigger, faster, and stronger than everyone on the opposite side of the ball as a junior in high school.

What I got out of RJ Moten’s highlight reel is a lot of questions; mainly, how did he do that? And where did he come from? You can see for yourself by clicking here.

He’s not just a talented football player either, RJ is also a dual-sport athlete.

“Great wide-shouldered frame. Holds 200 pounds like 185. Elite center fielder in baseball. Ran 4.62 with elite 40.9 vertical. Position versatility as receiver, running back, safety. Highest ceiling is as safety. Accelerates well and is physical.” 247Sports Brian Dohn wrote. “Has good length. Tough in run support as gap filler. Can chase to sideline. As receiver, has strong hands and gets out of breaks well. Gets off line quickly. Shields defender and uses size. Has to work on hip flexibility to aid in change of direction and elusiveness as receiver. Continued upper body development needed. Has to work on technique in coverage. Multi-year starter at Top 20 program. Projects as a Day 3 NFL draft pick.”

While Moten currently sits as a four-star with an 8937 composite, he has been rising through the ranks jumping 457 spots nationally in May. Moten is 9th out of NJ, 18th ranked ATH, and sits at 327th nationally.

light. Trending. 5 recruiting battles left for Michigan in 2020

Since he resides in coach Anthony Campanile and Chris Partridge’s old stomping grounds, Michigan is an obvious fit and both 247Sports and Rivals predict he will choose UM.
