Michigan Football: 5 key recruiting battles left for Wolverines in 2020
4-star OG Andrew Raym
Michigan football isn’t really contending for many top-100 players right now, even though they have already landed a pair with Braiden McGregor on defense and A.J. Henning on offense.
One top-100 recruit Michigan is still battling for though is four-star offensive lineman Andrew Raym, who visited Ann Arbor a couple of weeks ago.
The 6-foot-6 guard, who is ranked third at his position and 90th overall in 2020 according to the 247 composite rankings, is filled with upside. He easily has the body to play tackle and is a tenacious run blocker.
He seems to fit best on the right side as either a right tackle or a right guard. Generally, people don’t get super excited about offensive lineman, but Gattis wants Raym so bad he even tweeted about him while he was on vacation.
With Moore and Ed Warriner also heavily involved in his recruitment, Michigan has to like its chances, although the in-state Oklahoma Sooners are still the favorite and hold 100 percent of his crystal balls.
