Roman Wilson
When it comes to wide receiver, Michigan football has gotten a good haul already in 2020 with four-star commit A.J. Henning, as well as three-star athlete Eamonn Dennis who is likely destined to play in the slot.

Both of those guys are 5-foot-10 and are dynamic with the ball in their hands. Henning and Dennis each have experience at running back and even though Henning should also see some time as an outside receiver, the Wolverines still need to add someone with size who can play on the perimeter.
Three-star wideout Brenden Rice, the son of Jerry Rice, is one option. The 6-foot-2 receiver looks like a Michigan lean after visiting last weekend, however, another name to watch is four-star Roman Wilson out of Hawaii.
Wilson is ranked as the third-best player in his home state and the 59th wide receiver. He also ranks 318th according to the 247 composite although its own rankings have him at No. 218 nationally.
What makes him so exciting is his 4.37 speed in the 40 and the potential he has as a vertical threat. Imagine trying to defend Henning in the slot and Wilson on the outside. That’s a dangerous proposition and even though there isn’t a defined favorite for Wilson, UM is in the mix.
Oregon, UCLA, Cal and Arizona State are some of the key competitors for his commitment, however, with Josh Gattis as his primary recruiter and all the momentum the Wolverines have right now, you have to feel good about their chances.
