Andrew Raym

While Michigan has landed some talented offensive lineman in this 2020 class, it hasn’t really landed anyone elite and that’s what would make the addition of Andrew Raym so important.

The four-star offensive lineman that ranks 90th overall according to the 247 composite rankings and third among guards, as well as No. 1 in the state of Oklahoma, visited Ann Arbor recently and it appeared to go well.

According to Brice Marich of the Michigan Insider, Raym spent a lot of time with Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh and of course, offensive line coach Ed Warriner. Warriner has done a great job recruiting the past two cycles so he always seems to give Michigan a chance.

For much of this recruitment, it felt like Raym to Oklahoma was a done deal. Yet, Georgia and Michigan have both gotten into the mix and it seems like the Wolverines are the biggest threat. All of his crystal balls are still with the Sooners and getting him would be an upset, but it’s possible.
