4-star (West Bloomfield, MI) RB Donovan Edwards

Edwards is the No. 3 RB in the class and the No. 3 player in the state according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings. He also ranks 63rd overall and is a consensus top-five player at his position.

As complete of a player as any running back in the class, Edwards has the power to run between the tackles and the speed to rip off big plays. Getting him would be similar to Zach Charbonnet, the four-star back Michigan football got a commitment from in 2019.

Edwards has great size for the position at 5-foot-11, 190 pounds. In addition to his ground game contributions, Edwards has soft hands out of the backfield and can line up in the slot, too.

It appears his recruitment is going to come down to Michigan, Michigan State and Ohio State. The Wolverines currently hold 80 percent of his Crystal Ball predictions, with the Buckeyes holding the remaining 20 percent.
