Michigan football has been on quite a run in the 2020 class. Given this success, let’s take a look ahead at some 2021 recruits UM should target.

Four-star WR A.J. Henning became the latest member of the Michigan football‘s 2020 recruiting class on Wednesday. His commitment marks seven pledges in the last four days for the Wolverines.

With this run, Michigan football has seen their current recruiting class vault into the top-ten nationally, going from 23rd over the weekend all the way to No. 9.

While it is still very early in the process, but Michigan is putting together a top-ten class in 2021 as well. Five-star QB J.J. McCarthy and four-star OT Giovanni El-Hadi are the two players that are currently committed to the Wolverines in next year’s cycle.

While the Wolverines have added a total of eight commitments over the past few days more are on the way and as the 2020 class starts to fill up, more of the focus will shift towards 2021.

Some key players from that class were in Ann Arbor over the weekend too and it’s never too early to start looking ahead to next batch of players. Michigan is already off to a strong start with McCarthy and El-Hadi. Landing two top-100 players is a great way to start but here is a look at five players Michigan is prioritizing to join them.
