The 2017 NBA draft

The 2017 draft is headlined by one man who could go down in history as one of the biggest flops unless something changes. Markelle Fultz was the first pick of the draft and has played a total of 33 games over his two years in the league. He was traded for a first round pick from Philadelphia to Orlando and it seems as if the guy is permanently injured.

That’s not the case for the lone Wolverine from the 2017 Draft.

D.J. Wilson

DeVante Jaylen Wilson, commonly referred to as D.J., is a rising star in the NBA after being selected 17th overall by the Milwaukee Bucks.

An unremarkable first season led to a sixth man type second scoring 5.8 points-per-game and 4.6 rebounds on an average of 18 minutes-per-game.

Wilson plays alongside ‘The Greek Freak’ Giannis Antetokounmpo and the team was able to make a deep playoff run this year losing to the eventual NBA Champion Toronto Raptors in the Eastern Conference Finals.
