Michigan Football: 5 questions to answer on a huge recruiting weekend
Will Michigan land any commitments?
Itās hard to know if any of the 19 players visiting Michigan football this weekend will actually pull the trigger and commit, but there are some possibilities.
One name to watch on the offensive side of the ball is Eamonn Dennis, a three-star athlete from Massachusetts that the Wolverines see as a slot receiver. The 5-foot-10 Dennis is the No. 34 athlete in 2020 and the No. 483 prospect overall, yet heās explosive and feels like a perfect fit.

A couple of weeks ago I suggested he could be insurance for Henning, who is a similar size and could also be destined for a slot role, but truth be told, Michigan will need plenty of pass catchers so there is room for both and Dennis could also play defensive back too.
He is taking an official visit and is a name to watch, along with Corum and Theo Johnson, a four-star tight end from Canada. Johnson visited recently and another trip could be a sign of good things to come for UM, which holds 25 percent of his crystal balls compared to 75 percent for Penn State. Still, the momentum appears to be in Michiganās favor.
Hoping for Johnson to commit might be a bit optimistic, but with William Mohan, a three-star athlete the staff views as a viper, thatās not necessarily true. The Wolverines hold all of his crystal balls and the 6-foot-1, 195-pound linebacker from Brooklyn, seems like a solid UM lean.
Obviously, getting something from Henning would be huge but donāt hold your breath. Some crystal balls could start moving Michiganās way from 247 sports if things go well but Iād expect more time to pass before Henning makes his final decision.
Still, this weekend is huge and if the Wolverines can make progress with key targets, it could play a key role in landing some critical commitments, maybe even as soon as Saturday or Sunday.
