Greg Marshall

If you want a coach with an impressive resume, then outside of the big-name guys like Billy Donovan, it’s hard to top a guy like Greg Marshall who has won at both Wichita State and Winthrop.

During his two stops there, he has won a total of 11 regular-season conference championships, won nine tournament titles and reached the NCAA tournament 14 times in 21 seasons on the sideline.

He is most well known for taking the Shockers to the Final Four a few years ago. That was when they were in the Missouri Valley Conference but even after shifting to the American, they have still have an NCAA berth, despite missing out this past season.

The problem with Marshall is that he has supposedly said he doesn’t want to leave Wichita but Michigan can afford to throw a good chunk of money at Marshall, who has teams that have been strong on both the offensive and defensive ends. If interested, he would be a great fit.
