Michigan Football: 8 headlines surrounding the Wolverines
South Africa
From the thousands of Law and Order episodes I watched and my prior experience in law enforcement, I can tell you generally when you are suspected of a crime, you’re told not to leave the country.
When there is no evidence and you have less than no worries about the case, you head to South Africa for vacation and that’s just what the Michigan football team did.
For those of you reading this without a twitter account, I implore you to create one just to follow the players and coaches who are posting amazing videos and pictures.
Matt Dudek, the Director of Recruiting, is posting some of the best content out there and you should give him a follow @Thee_Matty_D.
"My favorite picture so far… SR Captain OL Ben Bredeson walking/talking about this experience on Robben Island with midyear FR DL Mazi Smith…epitomizes what this trip is all about #UbuntuBlue #MoreThanFootball FA ILY"
"1st/2nd pic – Standing in Nelson Mandela’s cell…no more than 10×10, for 18 years, incredibly moving…his resolve/fortitude, more than a special man 3rd pic – Our tour guide who was formerly a political prisoner on Robben Island, standing in his own cell with us #UbuntuBlue"
Offensive line coach Ed Warinner took the time to get an O-Line only picture on Signal Hill.
"Wolverine Offensive Line in Cape Town on Signal Hill, Lion’s Head and Table Mountains in the back ground. #UbuntuBlue"
Of course, the Michigan football account has some great content as well.
"Our first full day in began with a trip to Signal Hill, overlooking the city and ocean. The views are incredible! #UbuntuBlue"
"Our experience in South Africa has been incredible! See for yourself#UbuntuBlue"
It’s great for these Michigan men to gain some worldly perspective and culture even if one of them will not be sticking around for the 2019 season.
