Michigan Basketball: Best options for replacing Jordan Poole in the lineup
If he’s added late to the 2019 class he could be in the mix
When it comes to the 2019 recruiting class, Michigan basketball is running out of options when it comes to guards and one of the last remaining for the Wolverines is 6-foot-3 combo guard Nas’shon Hyland.
Hyland is ranked 71st overall according to 247 sports but in the 247 composite rankings, he is not a top 100 player. Hyland is a late riser and even though Michigan is a power program, UConn also offered him recently and could be the main competition along with some A-10 programs.
The Wolverines haven’t set up a visit with Hyland, but that and an offer could come soon. Whether or not he would be ready to start in the Big Ten is another story, but he would certainly provide some depth and if there is one thing he can do, it’s light it up from deep.
Even if he just adds depth, Hyland might be the best option left when it comes to uncommitted prospects in 2019.
