The NFL draft is done and now we can look forward to watching the Wolverines in the fall. We can also look forward to the Michigan football commits from the 2020 class.

Having five of your pupils drafted into the NFL would make any coach proud, not to mention all of the undrafted free agents who were already picked up by a team or will shortly be joining an NFL franchise.

There is so much for the Michigan football staff to be excited about and yet there is still so much work that still needs to be done.

As we move closer to the 2019 season we can see that the recruiting for this upcoming year is complete for the most part and there is an abundance of talented freshman who have already enrolled or will be joining the team momentarily.

The No.1 rated safety in the 2019 class is one of the guys who didn’t pursue early enrolment and still, his name – Daxton Hill –  is mentioned by many members of the media and coaches as someone who could see significant playing time early.

And then you have those guys who fell under the radar and were given ratings not commensurate with their abilities. One of those guys is Mike Sainristil who was rated by 247sports as a three-star coming out of Massachusets. Once he switched from the defense to wide receiver and coach Josh Gattis got his hands on the speedster, he flourished and could become a staple on the 2019 Michigan football offense.

Even though Sainristil was underrated and under-recruited, the 2019 recruiting cycle was a successful one by all accounts. Coming in on top of the Big Ten and 8th in the nation, the Wolverines appear ready for the challenges ahead of them.

The 2020 recruiting cycle is no different and the future is certainly bright for the maize and blue. These future Michigan Men are destined to make their mark on the program in a couple of years.

Here’s a look at the 2020 Michigan football commits.
