Maliq Carr

Position: wide receiver

Height: 6-foot-4-inches

Weight: 230 pounds

High School: Oak Park

Maliq Carr hasn’t announced his commitment to Michigan which is a little scary considering he did announce early this year that he will be moving to Missouri likely to be with his dad, Missouri’s basketball coach Cornell Mann.

Luckily, shortly after the disastrous news, he then announced he would not be leaving without giving an explanation for either decision. After finishing the year with 21 receptions for 815 yards and nine touchdowns, it’s a great sign he won’t be moving away.

What they are saying

Carr is another guy whose stock has risen significantly. After showing his freakish athleticism at The Opening – running a 4.67 forth, 4.20 shuttle – Carr went from a three-star to a four-star according to 247sports.

While his recruitment is technically still open, all eight of 247sports crystal balls have Carr landing in Ann Arbor next year.

Maliq anticipated commitment date is Oct. 11th, his birthday.

Highlights

With his dad being a basketball coach and his stepdad a football coach, Carr has a natural desire to play both sports at the next level and he might be talented enough to make the Michigan football and basketball teams.
