OL

Starters: Jon Runyan Jr., Ben Bredeson, Cesar Ruiz, Michael Onwenu, Andrew Stueber

Everyone is raving about the offensive line coming out of the spring and O-line coach Ed Warriner offered high praise for his group coming out of spring practice saying how they didn’t miss a rep and he’s never had a group do that. There is still a battle brewing this fall at right tackle between Andrew Stueber and Jalen Mayfield but either way, this group is good.

Backups: Jalen Mayfield, Ryan Hayes, Stephen Spanellis, Chuck Filiaga

Mayfield is a solid presence along the offensive front and will likely be the swing tackle, being the first guy off the bench for Runyan or Steuber. Spanellis is valuable because of his experience inside and ability to play both center and guard. Filiaga is another decent guy with experience.

Hayes offers big upside and has been growing. He has a chance to start in the future but some really good tackles are coming in this fall in four-stars Trente Jones and Trevor Keegan. Nolan Rumler, a four-star guard, could also be a No. 2 inside.
