Michigan Football: Grading each Wolverines early enrollee this spring
Spring ball just ended for the Michigan football team and here is a look at how each early-enrolled freshmen performed this spring for the Wolverines.
Michigan football completed spring practices last Saturday and now, the wait for fall camp and the regular season begins.
Unfortunately, we still have 4-5 months to go before we will see the Michigan football team on the field again, however, that doesn’t mean there still isn’t plenty to talk about when it comes to the Wolverines.
As far as what we saw this spring, there is still a lot to digest. Some players broke out, while others were stagnant either due to injury or just poor performance.
Most of the time you hear about the guys that are getting better and making an impact. Truthfully, everything is optimistic in the spring. That’s just the way it goes. But in the case of the Wolverines, there are some real positives to take away from the spring.
One of them is the development of some young talent. Eight incoming freshmen enrolled early to participate in spring practice and some of them turned heads, setting the stage for them to potentially see the field right away in 2019.
Of course, not every player had that experience. Some had ups and downs, while others dealt with injury. Regardless, we break down the spring of each early enrollee and take a look at what it means for them going into next season, their first with Michigan football.
