Michigan Football: Wolverines recruit Arizona talent with help of Shaun Nua
2020 targets
Bijan Robinson
Bijan Robinson is a five-star running back from Tucson and the No.5 ranked back in the entire county. Blair Angulo from 247 sports has Robinson leaning to UCLA and Ohio State but most would agree he looks better in maize and blue.

As you can see from the Instagram post, Robinson tagged Michigan Football’s running back coach Jay Harbaugh – a guy he admires.
“What I like about Michigan is coach Jay Harbaugh,” Robinson told 247Sports back in September. “He was the man and was just telling me things straight up. I like how he really got to know me and was easy to talk to since he’s a younger coach.”
Robinson made an unofficial visit to Michigan in September and in January, head coach Jim Harbaugh paid him and the next on this list a visit.
Lathan Ransom
Lathan Ransom and Robinson attend Salpointe Catholic which is where coach Harbaugh took a visit to; however, even after Michigan football’s head coach came around, the four-star safety dropped a list of his top 14 schools in March and didn’t include Michigan.

While it doesn’t completely knock off Michigan football as a potential landing spot, it does make it highly unlikely he will choose the Wolverines.
Darvon Hubbard
Darvon Hubbard is a running back from Suprise, Arizona, where he is ranked as the 9th best player in the state and the 19th ranked back in the nation. To the delight of Michigan football fans, Darvon de-committed from Ohio State, opening up recruiting opportunities.
Since he has shown Big Ten interest, it’s very possible he could be rocking the winged helmet in a couple of years.
Noah Nelson
This guy is huge. According to 247sports, Noah Nelson comes in at 6-foot-8-inches and 295 pounds and is ranked as the 48th best tackle among all 2020 recruits.
Last month, Nelson made an unofficial visit to Michigan and immediately announced his intent to make an official visit to Michigan on April 12th.
“My family and I loved Michigan,” Nelson told 247Sports. “Their commitment to both academics and athletics is something that a lot of schools can’t offer. The coaches’ attention to detail on my trip and the effort they’ve put in with me really stands out as well.”
Jaylan Jeffers
Another offensive tackle from Arizona that Michigan is targeting is Jaylan Jeffers. Back in January, the Wolverines offered Jeffers.
Jeffers is slightly behind Nelson at the tackle position, coming in as the 54th highest rated tackle for the 2020 class.
Tosh Baker
Arizona offensive tackles are the theme for 2020 targets at Michigan. Tosh Baker from Scottsdale is the highest ranked tackle and the No. 3 player from the state of Arizona. 247sports Tom Loy’s crystal ball prediction has the top-ranked talent going to Notre Dame, but as Lee Corso says every fall, Not so fast!
Tosh made an unofficial visit to the Irish on March 30th and his next and last stop was in Ann Arbor on March 31st. Hopefully, the Michigan football coaches can woo him away from South Bend before he makes a decision.
Kelee Ringo
Kelee Ringo is the 176th ranked all-time recruit according to 247sports and the ninth best player nationally according to Rivals.
The dynamic cornerback is predicted to go to either Texas, Washington, or Oklahoma, but he hasn’t taken a hard stance on any school.
And as of November, Ringo listed Michigan Football in his top 15 schools.
