Power Forward

Starter: Isaiah Livers

Backup: Brandon Johns Jr.

Iggy at the three opens the power forward position for Livers to take over and Livers is the perfect man for the job. He has shown his ability to hit from three and get double-digit rebounds. His performance against Minnesota in the conference tournament left Michigan fans shaking their heads and wondering why didn’t he start all season.

The backup spot here is pretty clear. Brandon Johns Jr., Colin Castleton, and Austin Davis briefly battled it out for the backup position to Teske and Castleton clearly won. Johns should drop to the four spot where he belongs.

While Johns’ time has been limited, he was a freshman this season and was the second highest ranked Michigan recruit behind Brazdeikis. His four-star .9734 rating coming out of East Lansing High School ranked him as the 16th best power forward in the nation and number two coming out of the state of Michigan.

Expect big things from this big man.
