The other things that mattered

I have touched on many of the key things Harbaugh addressed Monday, but there were a few other topics worth exploring and one was Harbaugh’s comments on Greg Mattison.

Of course, every Michigan football fan knows Mattison as a traitor who took more money to be the co-defensive coordinator at Ohio State. The raise was significant, but Harbaugh commented on the situation, really for the first time, saying the two won’t exchange Christmas cards anymore.

Harbaugh also offered up the name of four-star freshman David Ojabo, a defensive end that enrolled early for the Wolverines. Harbaugh said he put on 20 pounds and that he was a guy to watch.

Defensive end is already loaded with talented guys such as Josh Uche, Kwity Paye, Aidan Hutchinson and Mike Danna, but another solid pass rusher is always welcome and it’s possible Ojabo could be the freshman that steps up and surprises right away. Keep an eye out for more updates on Michigan spring ball.
