Michigan Football: 5 takeaways from Jim Harbaugh’s spring ball presser
Michigan football has is now into the full swing of spring football and Monday morning, head coach Jim Harbaugh spoke to the media. Here are the key takeaways.
While there is a lot of focus on March Madness, Michigan football fans also had reason to be excited Sunday as the Wolverines took the field for the first time for spring football.
Of course, there wasn’t much information that came out about the first workouts for the Wolverines, except for some pictures that showed Shea Patterson taking some snaps behind the offensive line.
However, Michigan football head coach Jim Harbaugh actually stepped to the podium Monday for the first time since the loss to Florida in the Peach Bowl. As much as people want to say Harbaugh is out for attention, he doesn’t speak to the media much and he offered some really great tidbits about the 2019 team.
Harbaugh touched on a number of topics, including players, injuries, the depth chart and some of the coaching moves he made this offseason, notably talking about how Josh Gattis was a coach he wanted to hire and one he felt comfortable handing the keys of the offense over to.
Harbaugh dove into some of the offensive changes and much, much more. Obviously, it’s hard to touch on everything Harbaugh said Monday, but who knows how many times he will speak to the media like this, so with that in mind, here are five takeaways.
