Daxton Hill will be the solution in the secondary

There is no question that after Ohio State and Florida and even Indiana, kind of had their way throwing the ball against Michigan football, something needs to change.

However, I am not convinced that Don Brown will see it that way. The defensive coordinator has been stuck in his ways, and even though his man-to-man defense has failed the Wolverines before, I’m not sure he will adjust.

One thing I think he will do though is take advantage of the incredibly talented and athletic Daxton Hill. The defensive back who stands 6-foot and runs 4.3 may be the fastest recruit in the country and he will certainly be the most dynamic athlete in the secondary and seeing as how speed torched the Wolverines at the end of last season, they could use more.

Hill also offers the versatility to be a traditional safety, as well as a corner. I would love to see him used in the slot and playing deep middle. Put his tackling ability to use but at the same time, take advantage of his speed when no one else can match up.
