Michigan Football: 10 recruits to watch for Wolverines in 2020
OT Zak Zinter (No. 137 overall, No. 19 OT)
Since the hiring of Ed Warriner as offensive line coach, the Michigan football team has done a great job developing offensive lineman but also recruiting them.
Just look at all the talent that Warriner was able to land in 2019, starting with offensive tackles Trente Jones and Trevor Keegan, two guys who could be bookend starting tackles someday with the Wolverines. Nolan Rumler was also a solid get along with Karsen Barnhart, Jack Stewart and Zach Carpenter.
When it comes to 2020, one name to watch along the offensive line is Zak Zinter, who just met with Warriner again this week after paying a visit to Michigan back in November.
Zinter, who is out of Massachusetts already has a slew of offers and Notre Dame showed some recent interest in him, however, the Wolverines have done well in the Northeast lately and the addition of Campanile should help. At the end of the day, don’t be surprised if Warriner works his magic and lands another 6-foot-6 offensive tackle.
