Chris Hinton can play early at DT

After losing some key guys up front like Rashan Gary, Chase Winovich, Brian Mone and also Aubrey Solomon to a transfer, Michigan football is lacking a little depth up front.

At defensive end, Michigan should be fine if Josh Uche and Kwity Paye, as well as Aidan Hutchinson, can call build off of what they did last season. The same could be said for defensive tackle with Michael Dwumfour and Carlo Kemp.

Both of those guys played a lot of snaps and played well. The only problem is that in the Big Ten, you are going to have to play more than just two guys at defensive tackle and that’s where Hinton comes in, one of Michigan football’s top defensive recruits.

Hinton was reclassified as a five-star recently and he should be. He ranks as the No. 31 player in 2019 and at 6-foot-4, 280 pounds, he has the ability to play multiple spots, which should be helpful on a defensive line a little thin on depth.
