Michigan Football: 5 reasons the offense will dominate in 2019
Dynamic freshman at WR, RB and OL
Michigan football has plenty of talent returning from last season’s team and that’s always exciting. It also one of the key reasons why this offense has a really good chance to dominate next season.

However, another thing to keep an eye is some of the incoming freshmen from the 2019 recruiting class because there are a few guys that could impact the offense next season.
The first name to know is Zach Charbonnet, a four-star running back who was one of the Wolverines top recruits in 2019. He is viewed as one of the best backs in the nation and should contend for snaps right away.
There are also a couple of names to watch at wide receiver. One is 5-foot-8 slot receiver Giles Jackson, who has the potential to a different kind of weapon for the Wolverines. Michigan is also adding Cornelius Johnson, a 6-foot-1 receiver that is more of the traditional mold and caught two touchdowns recently at the All-American Bowl.
Those additions, along with offensive linemen like Trente Jones, Trevor Keegan and Nolan Rumler will make the unit better overall. None of those guys will probably start, although Jones and Keegan could make some noise at tackle, however, they can add quality depth and like at quarterback there is protection against injury.
Ultimately, Michigan has all the talent required to succeed on offense in 2019 and even more so with the incoming freshmen. Now, it’s up just Harbaugh and Gattis to make sure the Wolverines live up to their promise.
