Young guys will come through for Michigan

One thing about successful programs is that when guys leave, someone is generally there to step in and match that production. This Florida game will tell us whether or not Michigan football is at that point yet.

The Wolverines will be missing four starters against the Gators, including two first-round picks and their most consistent offensive player. Facing a pass rush that features Jachai Polite (11.5 sacks) and Jabari Zuniga (6.5 sacks), playing without your starting right tackle isn’t ideal.

Andrew Stueber who is set to start will need to come through. So will guys like Josh Ross, Cam McGrone, Jordan Anthony, Josh Uche, Kwity Paye and Aidan Hutchinson who all have big shoes to fill on defense too.

Offensively, Christian Turner is a name to watch at running back without Karan Higdon. The point is, if Michigan is going to win without some of its key guys, some of the names mentioned above will need to step up and I believe they will.

You already know Uche and Paye, but by the end of the Peach Bowl, don’t be shocked if you know the names Turner, Hutchinson and McGrone. All could have a big impact and if they do, Michigan should win.
