Michigan beat Florida in basketball and bowling this week

This is actually just kind of a joke but the Wolverines have defeated Florida in a couple of different sporting events this week, including a basketball competition Christmas night.

It is part of the fun of bowl week as the teams will compete against each other in different activities leading up to the game Saturday morning. But so far, Michigan is 2-0, which might say something about the overall athleticism of each team.

On the other hand, it might mean nothing at all. Speaking of athleticism, Donovan Peoples-Jones reminded why he is such a freak, pulling down a crazy one-handed catch according to Isaiah Hole of Wolverines Wire, who mentioned the catch in his recap of practice.

Hopefully, Peoples-Jones will be a big part of the game plan against Florida. He is one of a few really good receivers that have been underutilized this season by Michigan football and if the Wolverines want to beat Florida, it’s time to see what Peoples-Jones, Tarik Black and Nico Collins can do.

Whether that happens remains to be seen. But what I know for sure, is that the Peach Bowl is now just days away.
