Michigan Football: 3 things the Wolverines could use for Christmas
Too bad Santa can’t turn back time
There has been a lot of soul searching going on at Michigan after the Wolverines 62-39 loss to Ohio State last month. The loss to Ohio State hurt no doubt, but the way Michigan was beaten doesn’t reflect the true difference between the two teams.

In other words, Chase Winovich was right, the win was kind of a mirage. It wasn’t a mirage in the sense that I think Michigan would win if the two teams met again, however, I am confident it would be close in a rematch.
Michigan got dominated in Columbus that day. There is no way around that. But Ohio State is not 23 points better and you know this team would love nothing more than a chance to prove that. Heck, we would all love to see that.
Unfortunately, those aren’t the kinds of wishes that Santa can grant. Yet, if the Wolverines can change some things up on offense and get a win in the Peach Bowl, it could give UM some nice momentum heading into next season.
That’s the best thing Michigan fans can hope for right now. If this team beats Florida and does it impressively, the Wolverines will head into the most critical season yet under Harbaugh with a full head of steam. If that happens and UM actually opens up the playbook, maybe this team could beat Ohio State next November.
And if we are being honest, that’s all any Michigan football fan wants for Christmas — a win over Ohio State.
