LB Anthony Solomon could add depth at inside or viper

There are a few defenders that could make an impact right away and while Solomon isn’t the top guy on the list, he certainly has a chance to find earn his way onto the two-deep right away.

At 6-foot-1, 200 pounds, Solomon isn’t huge, but he has the perfect body to play the viper. He runs a little slower at 4.8 in the 40, but who knows how official that is. All I know is that when you watch him, he gets to the ball quickly and is a very good tackler. On the field, he looks explosive.

Michigan football is losing Devin Bush Jr., but Khaleke Hudson, Devin Gil and Josh Ross should be back. Those three guys could all start, however, Solomon could push for playing time, along with a guy like Cameron McGrone or he could ease into a backup role at the viper.

Either way, Michigan knows that it will have an opening in the starting lineup by 2020 and Solomon could be the guy it grooms to take that over. If that’s true, he will play in 2019, as Bush did in 2016.
