Harbaugh is better suited to college than the pros

Michigan football fans love Harbaugh, most of them anyway and they should. But he is a weird guy. He is crazy intense, competitive and just abnormal. I mean what other big-time coach talks about milk steak?

Harbaugh is who he is, however, his personality seems to wear on NFL players. He’s intense and that can work, even in a professional environment, but it led to his ouster in San Francisco, despite getting to the NFC Championship Game in three of four seasons on the job. And a Super Bowl.

At times, his college players probably get sick of him too, yet after four or at the max, five years, they are gone. And during their younger days, Harbaugh’s style probably works better for them, than it does for grown men with families.

At this point, I think Harbaugh knows that. He seems to love what he is doing and no matter what Cris Carter says or what sources he believes he has, I’ll go with what Michigan AD Warde Manuel, said which was examine the source because Carter is a former Buckeye. At this point, one thing is clear: no evidence of any genuine interest on the part of the NFL or Harbaugh exists. Anywhere.
