Freshmen on both sides will make their presence felt

North Carolina always has one of the most talented teams in the country and that isn’t any different this season. The Tar Heels lost some key players from last year, however, with freshmen such as Coby White and Nassir Little, it hasn’t affected them much.

White has been absolutely sensational for North Carolina, knocking down 43 percent of his 3-point shots. He also scored 33 points in the loss against Texas, a performance that included seven makes from downtown. White may be the star but Little has also been effective. The 6-foot-7 freshman is averaging 12.9 points and 5.3 rebounds in just 20 minutes a game.

Both of those guys will have big nights for the Tar Heels, yet they won’t be the only freshman making an impact. Michigan has a star freshman of its own in Ignas Brazdeikis. Iggy as he is affectionately known, is the Wolverines leading scorer is shooting 51 percent from the field and 35 percent from three.

The lefty seems like the next big star for Michigan basketball and against North Carolina, he is going to announce his presence on the national stage.
