Michigan Football vs Ohio State: How to watch and stream, plus storylines
Michigan football plays Ohio State today in The Game. Here is how to watch, how to stream and some of the key storylines for the Wolverines and Buckeyes.
When it comes rivalries, it really doesn’t get better than Michigan football and Ohio State and Saturday, in Columbus, the two teams will meet once again.
This version of “The Game” has some high stakes. Both teams are looking for the Big Ten East title and a berth in the Big Ten Championship game. Ohio State won the Big Ten Championship last season. Michigan football hasn’t won it since 2004. The Wolverines also haven’t won in Columbus since 2000.
People are talking this could be Urban Meyer’s last Michigan-Ohio State game. We will see, but he certainly has had the Wolverines number and is 3-0 against Jim Harbaugh. The 2016 game was an epic showdown between the two schools, a game that really started a new era in this rivalry and today, Michigan football needs to finally get even.
Michigan has won 10 straight, owns the best defense in the Big Ten, has a very good running game and one of the best quarterbacks in the country. All the pieces are there. Can the Wolverines finally close the deal?
The answer to that questions will come in just hours. But before that, here is some of the basic game info you need, plus a look at some key storylines and our coverage for this past week.

Getting to know Ohio State
You probably already know all there is to know about Ohio State, however, the key parts of the Buckeyes aren’t hard to figure out. Meyer leads the ship and the best player on the team is quarterback Dwayne Haskins, who leads the Big Ten in passing yards and has 36 touchdown passes.
Haskins loves to throw the football to Parris Campbell and K.J. Hill. Both have been dynamic this season and running backs Mike Weber and JK Dobbins have gotten better. The defense hasn’t been great, yet Ohio State is still talented up front. The defense is definitely missing Nick Bosa, but he probably wouldn’t be healthy enough to play right now anyway.
Probably the biggest question is whether the Michigan defense can contain Haskins or not?
This Week’s Coverage
Of course, there was no shortage of topics this week. Obviously, a big question for the Wolverines is whether or not Chase Winovich will play? We still don’t know for sure, but here’s a look at how UM could survive without him. Also, we ask the question, if not now, when for Michigan football vs Ohio State? We also took a look at whether Karan Higdon will back up his guarantee?
Later in the week, we look at three keys to a Michigan football victory and also threw out our five predictions for the outcome. Our Brian Wallace also examined how confident Michigan is heading into this matchup.
Ultimately, it’s normal to fear another epic loss to Ohio State. But as I said in my predictions, I believe this is Michigan’s year and I think the Wolverines survive 27-20.
