Michigan Football: 3 keys to Wolverines beating Ohio State
Michigan football has won 10 games in a row and if the Wolverines are going to make it 11 against Ohio State, here are three things it must do.
If you are a fan of Michigan football or Ohio State this week, then you don’t even care about Thanksgiving, all you care about is “The Game”, which is now just a few days away.
All Thanksgiving can do is distract us and help pass the time as we wait for the biggest game of the season. It’s been an incredible ride for Michigan football up to this point and Saturday, the Wolverines will go into the Horseshoe riding a 10-game winning streak and boasting the No. 4 ranking in the College Football Playoff.
Yet, Ohio State is right there in the playoff race too. Certainly, the Buckeyes have some work to do but in order to win the Big Ten, just like Michigan, a win this week, followed by a win next week against Northwestern in Indianapolis, is all that is required.
The goal for both teams, first and foremost, is winning the Big Ten championship. To do that, Michigan and Ohio State need to win the Big Ten East, which is the prize the Wolverines and Buckeyes are playing for Saturday.
The Big Ten East and much, much more.
Michigan hasn’t won this game since 2011 and Jim Harbaugh hasn’t won it in three tries as head coach. It’s another top-10 battle between Michigan and Ohio State, with playoff implications, just like in 2016 and here are three keys for UM to emerge victoriously.
