Defense always finishes strong

The best thing about Michigan’s defense is the way that it finishes. Yes, the Wolverines have given up some points early in games against teams like Notre Dame, Northwestern and Indiana. But in the second half of those games, Michigan adjusted and shut those teams down.

Northwestern got zero in the second half against Michigan. Notre Dame scored three points and Indiana also scored three after getting 17 points in the first half.

Jim Harbaugh has talked about Don Brown’s ability to adjust and that’s going to be enormous next week. Ohio State has a really good quarterback in Dwayne Haskins and a very good coach in Urban Meyer.

Expect them to find some way to make some plays early, the key will be adjusting and for Michigan football, the key will be finishing, which is something this defense showed it can do once again in the win over Indiana.
