Michigan Football: 4 teams you should root for during the bye week

There is a pretty good schedule of games this weekend, but one of the most exciting will certainly be the annual rivalry game between Florida and Georgia.
To me, this is always a game worth watching, especially when both teams are good and Saturday, they will meet with one loss apiece and both ranked in the top 10. That’s why this game has significance for Michigan football.
The SEC is loaded again this year and there is still an outside chance the conference could get two teams in the playoff. I see that happening potentially only if Georgia runs the table and narrowly beats Alabama in the SEC Championship game.
In that scenario, a 12-1 Alabama team would be left out. It’s hard to see that happening as we know from last year. In this same future scenario, Michigan could be the team competing with Bama for the last spot. I don’t know about you, but that scares me a little, even as the Big Ten champ. So, I’d rather see the Bulldogs just lose this weekend, because even if Florida reaches Atlanta, I don’t see the Gators toppling the tide.
