Michigan Football: 5 things we learned from win over Wisconsin
Patterson’s dual-threat ability could be a nightmare for opposing defenses
The biggest reason Michigan football hasn’t been able to win big games the past couple seasons was the lack of a dynamic quarterback. Well thanks to Patterson, that is no longer an issue.
It was easy to be disappointed with how Patterson played in the opening game at Notre Dame. But on this night, outside of taking a couple of bad sacks, he did no wrong. He completed 14-of-20 passes, didn’t turn the ball over and managed the game perfectly.
He also broke the game open with his legs. The first big play of the night was an 81-yard run by Patterson. He later scored a touchdown in the third quarter and finished with 90 yards on nine carries. He totaled 214 yards and looked in complete control.
Yes, ladies and gentleman, Michigan has found a quarterback and the fact that he showed off his dual-threat capability only makes him even more dangerous.
